Conviction / guilty plea
This label appears only when a qualifying source supports that the named person was convicted or entered a guilty plea. Court, sentence, date and offence details appear only when supported by the source.
METHODOLOGY
The site separates source-backed identity information from community-submitted safety signals so users can see what each entry means and what legal status applies.
This label appears only when a qualifying source supports that the named person was convicted or entered a guilty plea. Court, sentence, date and offence details appear only when supported by the source.
A named person may be included when a qualifying public source identifies that person. The reported status is preserved. A charge is not a conviction, an allegation is not a finding of guilt, and later acquittals, dismissals or appeal outcomes are reflected when located.
A community report is not a court finding or government record. It is displayed as an unverified safety signal, while the submitted identifying information remains private.
Private identifying information submitted with a community report is used to create a protected matching identifier. This allows reports that appear to concern the same submitted identity to be linked without displaying the underlying name.
When multiple reports match, the community feed may show the number of linked reports and a pseudonymous match code. That code is intended only to connect reports within this site and does not identify a person in the real world.
Social-media posts, anonymous messages, screenshots without provenance and community reports do not, by themselves, qualify a person for a named public-record profile.
Each named profile has a dedicated, shareable link. Multiple source-backed cases involving the same indexed name can appear together while retaining separate case status, source and verification details.
A photo may appear on a named, source-backed profile only where identity is sufficiently clear. Generic courthouse images, graphics and unrelated article thumbnails are not used as identifying photos.
Named records are updated when reliable information shows that a conviction was overturned, a person was acquitted, a charge was dismissed, a sentence changed, a record became legally restricted, or the wrong person was identified. Each profile retains its supporting source and verification information.
USE RESPONSIBLY
The site is intended to help people find and understand safety information. It is not a call to threaten, harass, stalk, dox, punish or physically confront anyone. Immediate danger or suspected ongoing child abuse should be reported to the appropriate Bahamian authorities.
